All able bodied members are obligated to volunteer for three events, so designated by the current Board of Directors, on a calendar year basis, excluding volunteering for the annual Feast (which includes set up, the Feast, and take down). Failure of such member to fulfill their annual volunteer obligations will result in a year probation and suspension of club privileges.
If the member does not satisfy the volunteer obligation, which includes three events for the current probationary year plus three events, to make up for the previous year’s obligation, during the probation year, it will result in a required review by the grievance committee. The grievance committee may institute disciplinary action up to possible expulsion.
Exemptions can be considered on a case by case basis by the Board of Directors. During the probation year a member will be considered “not in good standing” and will lose all club privileges with the exception of attending meetings. Probation applies only to current members.
